NYU Tandon Turns 170!
C2SMARTER is celebrating NYU Tandon’s 170th anniversary this year. In mid-January, we cohosted a reception at TRB’s Annual Meeting, which marked our first event as the new Center and celebrated Tandon’s impressive milestone.
At the NYU/C2SMARTER reception, two awards were presented to distinguished alumni.
Harry Capers, who is celebrating 50 years as an alumnus of Polytechnic Institute, received the honor, while C2SMARTER’S Assistant Director of Research Jannie/Jingqin Gao, who received her PhD from NYU in 2020, was presented with the Emerging Leader Alumni Award.
C2SMARTER congratulates Tandon on its monumental achievement and looks forward to the work set to unfold this year and beyond!
