October 26, 2024
On Saturday, October 26, NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering hosted TransportationCamp NYC 2024, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Nearly 230 attendees joined to discuss all things transportation and connect with professionals, students, and enthusiasts alike.
This year’s student led “unconference” featured sessions such as:
-How to Make the Subway Trains Go FAST!
-Proposed Subway Maps
-Walkable Communities
-Housing + Transportation
-Speed Signals
-How to Deal with NIMBY’s
-Queering Public Transit
Click here for the complete list of the day’s sessions.
As always, TransportationCamp is dependent on its student volunteers, both for the planning that starts months prior and for the many day of tasks that arise.
Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us. See you next year!
