C2SMARTER Student Researchers Presented at INFORMS Annual Meeting

Student researchers traveled to Phoenix, AZ, in mid-October to participate in the INFORMS (The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences) annual meeting. This year’s theme was “Harnessing the data revolution … all with the power of OR/MS!”

Apart from presenting their own work, C2SMARTER researchers could attend the cutting edge presentations, participate in technology tutorials, and network in person with fellow attendees from various facets of the industry.

Zilin Bian presented “A-TEAM Case Study- Applications Traffic Accident Detection and Prediction”

Bingqing (Chloe) Liu chaired a session titled “Modeling Smart Mobility Markets with Multi-players: Matching, Pricing, and Design”

Eren Kaval presented “Data-driven Quantification of the Resilience of Enforcement Policies on Transportation Systems: A Comparative Study of Two Major Winter Storms in Buffalo, NY”

Hai (Marshall) Yang presented collaborative work with Purdue researchers on “A Continuous Approximation Model for Urban Electric Robotic Deliveries with Maintenance Costs”

Ruixuan Zhang presented “Anomaly Detection and String Stability Analysis in Connected Automated Vehicular Platoons”
