The Story of the BQE

You are cordially invited to El Puente for a gathering to listen together to oral histories from elders and youth in communities across Brooklyn and Queens. Oral history facilitators Mitra Bonshahi and Adriana Gallardo will present audio excerpts from conversations between friends, neighbors, and family members about the impact of the BQE on their lives. Participants will be invited to share their experiences and hopes for the future of their neighborhoods. Space is limited and registration is required. This event is jointly organized by El Puente and the Institute for Public Architecture.
