ITE/ITS Student Chapters: Activities and Accomplishments
Led by C2SMART students and faculty advisor Prof. Joseph Chow, the NYU ITE/ITS chapters provide students with a variety of networking, learning, and professional development opportunities throughout the year.
Smart Cities Tech & Career Talks
The Smart Cities Tech & Career Talks series features a speakers with expertise on the latest
in transportation innovations and smart cities technology, including compelling presentations by speakers from Siemens Mobility and Amazon.
Women in Transportation Panel & Networking Night
This event gave students an opportunity to hear from three prominent female speakers about their career paths and advice for young professionals.
Northeastern District Traffic Bowl
Teams from NYU, Cooper Union, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts Am- herst and NJIT competed at this year’s Traffic Bowl, a quiz-style transportation competition, hosted at NYU Tandon.
Field Visits
The ITE chapter hosted site visits to the NYCDOT Traffic Management Center and the Stonefield Engineering and Design office, providing members with opportunities to meet current transportation professionals and get an in-person look at current work in the industry.
