About Us
C2SMART is a solution-oriented research center taking on
some of today’s most pressing urban mobility challenges. We are a USDOT Tier 1 University Transportation Center that uses cities as living laboratories to study transportation problems and find solutions from the unprecedented recent advances
in communication and smart technologies. Led by the New
York University Tandon School of Engineering, C2SMART’s consortium of member universities includes Rutgers University, University of Washington, the University of Texas at El Paso, and City College of New York. Our three main research areas are:
